Translation of a Postal ZIP Code To Network Design Data

This new approach eliminates the use of a traditional database that relied on NPA-NNX of a site's 10-digit telephone number to derive the network design parameters. The old database needed continual updates. The new database needs only the 5-digit Postal Zipcode of a site to derive the network design data. Such a database (ZIPVHDB - Copr 1997 Roshan L. Sharma) does not require an update each time a NPA is added.
